Okay… deep breath… because I have been holding this in and I’m finally allowed to say it out loud:
I’ve officially opened booking at the CCATCM student clinic in Bedford.
And I am so excited in that very specific way where your chest feels warm and your brain is already planning all the care you want to give people.
If you’re in Halifax or Bedford, you can now book with me.
And if you’ve ever thought, I want to feel better but I don’t want anything cold, clinical, or intimidating, hi. This might be your place.
Here’s how I’ll be supporting you:
Acupressure massage
This isn’t a “poke around and hope for the best” massage. This is intentional, grounding, nervous system soothing work that follows the same pathways acupuncture uses, just without the needles. It’s for the women who are tired, clenched, overstimulated, and carrying way more than they should be. People often get off the table saying, “I didn’t realize how much I needed that.” That’s my favourite sentence.
Gua sha
This is traditional body gua sha, slow, steady strokes that help move what’s stuck. Tight shoulders, sore backs, headaches, heavy periods, lingering colds, that feeling like your body is trudging through molasses? Gua sha helps get things flowing again. It’s especially powerful if you feel a cold or flu coming on, like your body’s waving a little flag asking for backup.
Cupping
Hot fire. Warm cups. Huge relief.
Cupping helps release deep tension, improve circulation, ease pain, and let your body take a full breath again. It’s incredible for stress, back and neck pain, headaches, and that constant low grade ache so many women just live with.
And yes — a little acupuncture, too
I have approval for specific acupuncture points, which means we can thoughtfully layer in needles when appropriate to deepen the effects of your treatment. Nothing aggressive. Nothing rushed. Just enough to gently remind your body how to regulate itself again.
Now here’s the part I really want you to hear:
This work isn’t just about pain.
It’s about keeping you well.
If you feel a cold or flu creeping in (scratchy throat, heavy head, chills, body aches) this is actually one of the best times to come in. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we talk about illness as something that starts on the outside before it settles in. These treatments help your body push it back out, recover faster, and sometimes avoid getting fully knocked down altogether.
And women’s health?
That’s the heart of everything I do.
TCM understands that women are cyclical beings. Hormones, energy, digestion, mood, sleep, they’re all connected, and they all change throughout the month and across life stages. These treatments can support painful or irregular periods, PMS, hormonal headaches, digestive issues tied to stress, fatigue that sleep doesn’t fix, perimenopause symptoms, postpartum depletion, and nervous system overwhelm.
This isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about nourishing you.
I want you to feel like you’re coming in to be cared for, not assessed. Like you can take your armour off for an hour. Like your body is being listened to instead of rushed.
If you’re in Halifax or Bedford and you’ve been feeling run down, stuck, hormonally off, or just very done with pushing through, I would love to take care of you.
Come lie down.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let me help your body remember how to soften, circulate, and come back into balance.
A Gentle Note: I’m a student of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and this space reflects my learning as it unfolds. TCM is deep, layered, and complex, and I’m still finding my footing within it. I will refine my understanding over time. I will make mistakes. That’s part of doing this honestly. What I share here is my current perspective, shaped by my teachers, clinical training, lived experience, and my own biases. It’s not absolute, it’s evolving. I welcome thoughtful conversation, shared insight, and respectful correction along the way. I humbly welcome your insight. Let’s learn together. You can always find me over on Instagram to keep the conversation going.
