Acupuncture in Hartland, New Brunswick

Private treatments and community acupuncture at Covered Bridge Golf & Country Club.

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine are now available in Hartland, NB, with both private appointments and affordable community acupuncture at the Covered Bridge Golf & Country Club.

Private appointments offer dedicated time to explore your health concerns, develop an individualized treatment plan, and incorporate techniques such as acupuncture, fire cupping, gua sha, and other Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies.

Community acupuncture offers a different experience. Treatments take place in a shared space, with several people relaxing in comfortable chairs while receiving acupuncture. It’s a simple, affordable way to access Chinese medicine, particularly for those who benefit from regular treatments.

Whether you’re looking for a comprehensive private treatment or a comfortable place to settle in for a little acupuncture alongside others, there’s a place for you here in Hartland.

Treatments Available in Hartland

At the Covered Bridge Golf & Country Club, you’ll find a range of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments, with options for both private care and affordable community acupuncture.

Whether you’re managing a longstanding health concern, recovering from an injury, interested in facial rejuvenation, or simply curious about Chinese medicine, there’s a treatment option to suit your needs.

Community Acupuncture

Community acupuncture takes place in a shared treatment space, with several people receiving acupuncture while relaxing in comfortable reclining chairs.

These shorter, affordable appointments are particularly well suited to people who benefit from frequent treatments, those managing ongoing health concerns, or anyone who enjoys the simplicity of settling in for acupuncture without a lengthy appointment.

Private Acupuncture

Individual appointments provide time for a comprehensive health assessment, Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis, and a treatment plan developed around your particular concerns.

Treatments may incorporate acupuncture, fire cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, acupressure, and other TCM techniques as appropriate.

Initial consultations and follow-up appointments are available.

Cosmetic Acupuncture & Facial Rejuvenation

Cosmetic acupuncture combines facial and body acupuncture with Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques that support circulation, skin health, and natural facial rejuvenation.

Treatments may include facial cupping, gua sha, and acupressure massage of the face, head, neck, and shoulders.

Initial consultations, follow-up treatments, and facial rejuvenation appointments are available.

Fire Cupping & Gua Sha

These traditional techniques are used to address muscular tension, discomfort, and areas of stagnation.

Treatments may also incorporate tuina or other hands-on Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques depending on your needs.

Acupressure & Meridian Massage

Needle-free treatments using pressure, movement, and hands-on techniques along the body’s acupuncture channels.

These appointments offer another way to experience Traditional Chinese Medicine, particularly for people who prefer manual therapies.

Come on in. Get comfortable. Stay awhile.

You don’t need to know anything about acupuncture before you arrive. You don’t need to understand meridians, have a diagnosis from a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, or know which points you need.

That’s my job. You just have to show up.

Whether you’re coming in for a private appointment or joining a community acupuncture session, we’ll talk about what’s going on, choose an appropriate treatment, and get you settled in.

Community acupuncture is especially lovely if you want to make treatment part of your regular routine. Bring something comfortable to wear, settle into a reclining chair, and enjoy a little time to yourself while the needles do their thing.

Private appointments offer more time and privacy for a comprehensive assessment, hands-on therapies, and individualized care.

Before Your Appointment

What to wear

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows access to your arms and lower legs is ideal for community acupuncture. You may undress to your comfort level in private appointments.

Have something to eat

Avoid arriving on an empty stomach. A light meal or snack beforehand is a good idea.

Community or private?

Community acupuncture takes place in a shared treatment space. If you prefer privacy or need a more comprehensive appointment, book a private treatment. One of my favourite ways to provide ongoing care is to have a private initial appointment followed by ongoing visits in the community acupuncture clinic.

Insurance

Treatments are not currently eligible for insurance reimbursement while I await the final documentation required for direct billing and insurance claims.

For the TCM Nerds.

If you’ve ever stayed up far too late reading about an acupuncture point, stopped a lecture to scribble down a question, taken a photo of a plant because it reminded you of a herb, or walked out of clinic thinking, “I need to talk to someone about what I just saw,” you’ll probably feel at home here.

Every so often I send a letter with the things that didn’t fit on Instagram. The clinic moments that changed how I think, interesting research papers, stories from China, books I’m reading, questions I can’t stop chasing, mistakes that taught me something, and the rabbit holes that make Traditional Chinese Medicine endlessly fascinating.

If that sounds like your kind of email, I’d love to have you along.
